NUMERICAL MODELING OF THE TOTAL ELECTRON CONTENT PRESENT OVER THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CUBA USING GNSS OBSERVATIONS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research addresses the numerical modeling of the Total Electron Content (TEC) over the territory of the Republic of Cuba using GNSS observations. For this purpose, 24-hour GNSS observations corresponding to day 214 (August 1, 2024) were compiled from 9 stations located within Cuban territory and 13 surrounding stations. These observations were processed using the scientific software Bernese V 5.2 to obtain an hourly model that compiles the TEC values ??over the territory during the studied period into spherical harmonic coefficients.
These coefficients were developed using the DeepSeek Chat artificial intelligence tool to obtain the TEC values ??corresponding to the stations used. This information was then used to create maps representing hourly ionospheric activity over the territory of the Republic of Cuba. The results obtained from the processes performed are shown, along with a summary of the tools used. The document concludes with a graphical representation of the ionospheric activity present over the territory of the Republic of Cuba.
