Abstract

In this work an application of Artificial Intelligence is presented (IA) to solve the problem of the growing demand of specialized geodesic information the 24 hours of the day in an automated way. It is one of the main and proven study areas of the IA: an Expert System in Geodesy (SEG) that behaves as a human expert in the domain of the Geodesy. It works in an ambient web over free software in client - servant architecture, so much in desk computers as in cellular from the land where operate the topography brigades. The SEG is able to process consultations in natural language (LN) and instantaneous way for passive consultations of geodesic information, like for active consultations that demand a prosecution in the servant. Inside the active consultations they are the transformations of coordinates among plane, ellipsoidal and space surfaces, referred to the system and time that it defines by the user, units of measures, angular formats and much more.
