Abstract
Quality plays a fundamental role in topographic mapping work. Therefore, it is crucial for the documents that regulate cartographic production processes to align with international standards. The objective of this work is to describe the analysis carried out on the General Drafting Guidelines for the Digital Topographic Map at a scale of 1:2000, according to the main components of spatial data quality. First, the characteristics of the main components of spatial data quality are described. Then, the technical requirements and the data model of the Digital Topographic Map at a scale of 1:2000 are analyzed. An evaluation of the general writing guidelines is conducted, and the validation results are presented. The analysis of the General Writing Drafting for the Digital Topographic Map at a scale of 1:2000 provides a solid foundation for ensuring the quality of spatial data in the production of topographic maps.
